Light Painting
Bringing folklore into the contemporary era by using modern technologies to capture storytelling through my own prism of imagination. Below are some inspiring artists who have used light painting in their work.
'Spectrum' by Dylan Arnold, Canon EOS 6D, 24-105mm, 20secs at f/11, ISO 100
Here's a revised version of the text you provided:
"This is an excellent example of using rainbows to paint with light. The lights are clear and consistent, and by attaching them to the oars of a boat, the photographer manages to capture an otherworldly aspect that would complement my exploration of folklore."

In this image, the broad strokes of the lgith are clearly portraying the movement of the body through dance. I find it very appealing to be able to capture movement in this way - a force that usually remains invisible after the moment it happens. This will be a really good way to capture natural flow and movement within my piece.
Tracing around the body with a light enhances the subject and adds a magical element to an otherwise very plain image. This is a very simple way I could incorporate mysticism into my photography.
Darren Pearson is an absolute wizard who has been honing his technique for years. I hope to be nearly half as good as he is at creating and visualising imagery in this way. His technique of drawing around his own body while the camera goes off with a long shutter is accessible and easy to recreate.
